It was during my own journey with debilitating anxiety that I soon discovered there weren't a lot of resources. I felt misunderstood, scared, unsupported and completely lost in my search for a better way...

Childhood provided the foundation for my anxiety, but it was the isolation, the distress and fear of going through the worst drought in 100 years when we were farming, plus other challenges along the way, that really turned it on fully. I began to worry incessantly about my children, my life, not doing/being/having enough, which soon overwhelmed every other thought! Then insomnia, perpetual thoughts and the constant feelings of doom increased until finally I would wake through the night with my body shaking from the inside to the outside!

I stepped away from my friends and began to feel lonely and isolated but too scared to change.
I had no idea what was happening and no resources to find a solution. I didn’t even know what anxiety was so I struggled onwards. I knew this wasn’t normal but I had no idea how to find help.

So uncomfortable, lonely and sad I finally went on a journey to learn about ‘what was wrong with me’ and visited many conventional therapists and then many unconventional therapists. Eventually I began to understand there was nothing wrong with me! I just required the right strategies. I realised that people are often made to feel there is something wrong with them, that their brain, thinking or something else is the problem and the solution is tablets or accept that is the way it will be. Wrong!

I never want anyone to endure the unnecessary journey of suffering I went on when the solution is easy. It’s understanding that anxiety is fear of the future and you feel you might lose control… but the most important thing is that it’s all just a story you have told yourself… and now it’s just time to tell another story with the help of strategies to change your life forever…

I've spent the last 6 or 7 years trapped alone in my house, depressed, anxious, addicted , having trouble sleeping, not seeing many friends, not driving anywhere. A specialist in anxiety, trauma and addiction who helps people from 6 to 96 develop a better relationship with themselves. I believe anyone can change when they’re given the knowledge and tools to let go of fear and suffering and build a better life.

I take a different approach to counselling, using integrated modalities such as psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and brain training techniques. With over 10 years of clinical practice, I’ve developed TraumaClear®, a technique which clears the emotions of traumatic memory in minutes. 

After seeing the success of this I created AnxietyClear®  a program to stop anxiety, and then AddictionClear to help with alcohol, food and smoking addictions.  I feel privileged to do the work I do as I continue to develop projects, programs and on-line learnings to be more accessible for more people to achieve a life they love.
